Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

St. Mary offers a continuum of care for the rehabilitation of people with medical, orthopedic or neurologic conditions. People recovering from stroke, traumatic injury, severe arthritis, and neurologic disorders such as Parkinsons Disease and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can benefit from a comprehensive therapy program designed according to their individual needs.

Whether recovering from injuries suffered as the result of a trauma or following a stroke, rehab is essential to achieving and maintaining the highest level of functioning and patient independence.

 Our team of specialists includes:

  • Physiatrists (physician specializing in rehab)
  • Neuropsychologists
  • Physical Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech Therapists
  • Rehab Nurses

St. Mary offers a wide range of advanced technology to impact the rehabilitation process such as LiteGait, Bioness L300 (lower extremity), Bioness H200 (upper extremity), and Neuromove. Our staff maintain a high level of training by completing continuing education yearly. Many therapists on staff are Certified  Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS). Rehabilitation for inpatients is provided seven days a week.
