The physicians and staff at St. Mary Women’s Health Associates of Bucks County believe expectant mothers deserve to feel special during this exciting time in their lives. Each member of the practice is committed to providing the highest quality obstetric services to every woman, including those experiencing high-risk pregnancies.
To ensure a level of comfort and familiarity with each physician, expectant mothers meet and spend time with all four of the practice’s doctors prior to their delivery date.
Our expectant mothers deliver at St. Mary Medical Center. St. Mary’s Maternity Care has spacious and private homelike birthing suites for labor and delivery. After delivery, new mothers can rest comfortably in private postpartum suites, each with its own bathroom. A nursery staffed by dedicated, professional nurses provides specialized care for newborns in a safe, secure environment.
St. Mary Medical Center also offers a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a transitional nursery where vital care so essential to infants with special medical needs is provided. The St. Mary NICU specializes in treating infants born prematurely or with significant medical conditions in a convenient, close-to-home setting. Established in 1989, the NICU was the first of its kind in Bucks County and is staffed by experts who have the experience and credentials necessary to provide compassionate skilled care to the tiniest patients.
Patients referred for testing can conveniently access a full range of services at the St. Mary Perinatal Testing Center. Using some of the latest advances in medical technology, perinatologists, genetic counselors, perinatal sonographers, and perinatal nurses team up with the obstetricians at St. Mary Women’s Health Associates of Bucks County to assess your unborn baby’s condition and test for potential medical concerns.
