Parenting Resource Center

Parenting Resource Center

St. Mary Parenting Resource Center offers families in our community a supportive and nurturing environment. Assisted by trained and certified parenting educators, parents are helped to evaluate their individual needs and goals of parenting. Parenting educators provide education on the vital issues of parenting today and offer guidance on how to create healthy patterns of parenting styles and capabilities. The center offers a variety of services to parents including parenting workshops, and weekly parent-and-child groups.

The St. Mary Parenting Center is located in the Child Development Center building at the rear of the St. Mary campus.

Parenting classes are also offered at the St. Mary Community Ministries in the Family Resource Center on Knights Road in Bensalem.

Parenting Resource Centers also have been established in the Neshaminy School District, Bristol Township School District, and Bensalem School District as a cooperative community effort.

Each center offers a variety of services to the families of the community, including parenting workshops, weekly parent-and-child groups, and "Puppets for Children," and is staffed by a certified parenting educator.
