Teen Cuisine is a six-week program for teens ages 13-18. The class meets for two hours once a week, and provides nutritional and fitness information, self-esteem and social support. The class is geared toward the challenges faced by teenagers every day and includes hands-on nutrition lessons and cooking demonstrations, discussions on how to change behaviors, as well as fun physical activities. Teen Cuisine helps students understand what they need to do to develop a lifetime of health and confidence.
A $50 registration fee for materials is required. Scholarships are available.
