Way to Wellness is an innovative and interactive 10-week program that combines three integral components for living a healthy lifestyle:
Nutrition – Learn to make healthy choices and ensure proper nutrition by enhancing your knowledge of meal planning, cooking, supermarket shopping and snacking. This component is facilitated by a licensed, registered dietitian.
Fitness – Learn skills to exercise properly to maintain a healthy heart, reduce fat, and increase strength and flexibility. The St. Mary Wellness Center is a comprehensive medical fitness facility. This component is facilitated by a certified fitness specialist/exercise physiologist.
Mind-Body Skills – Focus on your well-being... learn to manage stress, replace unwanted habits with healthy behaviors, and discover ways to take time for yourself amid life’s challenges. This component is facilitated by a certified professional coach/stress management specialist.
Through a combination of hands-on experience, plenty of support and learning opportunities, you will be introduced to a foundation of wellness that will give you the confidence and ability to create your healthy future.
