

Colleagues Honored
St. Mary Medical Center held a special congratulatory
reception on June 2 to acknowledge colleagues who recently received
community recognition for their dedication to our healing ministry.

Colleen Pedrotty, RN, MS, SANE, left, and Terri Rivera
display the certificates of merit they received at a
Nursing Spectrum magazine award ceremony held in
May at the Sheraton Society Hill.
Colleen, a clinical nurse educator was chosen as a
finalist in the category of Education. Terri received the Nursing
Excellence Award in the category of Community Service.
Terri also received the Richard A. Stebbins Award from
Catholic Health East in May for her commitment to promoting the St.
Mary mission in designing and implementing programs for the disadvantaged
in our community. State Representative Gene DiGirolamo presented Terri
with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives during the
celebratory luncheon. |

Four colleagues from the Community Health Ministries in
Bensalem were among local women honored at the YWCA of Bucks County's
"14th Annual Salute to Women Who Make A Difference."
Left to Right: Jill Simon, MSN,
CRNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner, is manager of the Children's Health
Center, which now serves more than 1,300 children newborn to age
18. Sharon Reeder is
the program coordinator for the St. Mary Family Resource Center and oversees
the
Thrift Shop. Barbara
Mace is the office coordinator and financial counselor for the Mother
Bachmann Maternity Center and is often the first St. Mary colleague to
greet people as they arrive. Lunda Miller, RN, BSN,
the care coordinator for Healthy Beginnings Plus at the Mother Bachmann
Maternity Center, provides expectant mothers with a positive prenatal
experience. Lunda has worked at St. Mary for more than 33
years! |
