Specialty service lines include the county's only state-accredited Trauma Center, the Heart Center -- providing specialized cardiac services which include open heart surgery, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology; a regional Cancer Center; orthopedics; and women's services. The Primary Stroke Center and Joint Replacement Center have earned disease-specific accrediation from the Joint Commission.

St. Mary is one of the region's largest employers and offers outstanding compensation and benefit packages. Flexible hours, including 8 or 12-hour shifts and per-diem status, are available.
The Human Resources office is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is conveniently located in the Annex Building at the back of the campus. Follow signs for the Emergency Room and the Annex Building is a small building on the right beside the curve in the road. A small parking lot is available for visitors to the HR department.
