Financial Assistance is available at St Mary Medical
Center. St. Mary Medical Center is pleased to offer
financial assistance to eligible patients who cannot afford to pay for all or
part of their medical care. If you need assistance with your billing, please
contact Customer Service at 215-710-6546
The St. Mary Financial Assistance
Program is designed to assist those patients whose family income levels are
above the Medical Assistance Guidelines (federal poverty level). We
will assist you in applying for medical assistance which is the first step in
the process. If you are not eligible for Medical Assistance, we will
assist you with the Financial Assistance Application.
You must make available certain detailed financial
information concerning income, assets and expenses.
Eligibility for Full Financial Assistance To be
eligible for full financial assistance, your family income must be 250 percent
or below the federal poverty level.
To qualify for partial assistance, your family income
must be below 400 percent of the federal poverty level.

St. Mary provided in 2007 is
$1,260,381 in financial assistance (charity care) for those in need.
$3,232,533 (revised number) in unpaid cost of Medicaid Programs.
$4,235,200 in community services, such as our Family Resource Center,
Parenting Center, numerous education programs, our Trauma and Neonatal
Intensive Care services and with such collaborations as Kidshape and

for Uninsured or Underinsured Individuals
Mother Bachmann
Maternity Center 215-245-4334 At Mother Bachmann Maternity
Center, certified nurse-midwives, in consultation with obstetricians, provide
complete prenatal care. Clients of Mother Bachmann have their babies at
St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.
In addition to prenatal care, Mother Bachmann provides
in-hospital infant care, and support services, such as nutrition,
pre-natal, and parenting classes.
St. Mary Children’s
Health Center 215-245-8873 The Children’s Health Center
provides primary medical care for newborns, children and adolescents up to age
18. Services provided include wellness and sick visits, physical exams,
vaccinations, laboratory tests, hearing and vision screenings, social service
referrals and specialist referrals. St. Mary Family Resource
Center 215-245-8563 The St. Mary Family Resource Center
services include housing assistance, job preparation and placement, family and
substance abuse counseling, referrals to social services,
English-as-a-second-language (ESL) classes, GED tutoring, and much more.
BCHIP Adult Primary
Care Clinic 215-633-8397 Housed within the Mother Bachmann
Maternity Center, the BCHIP Adult Primary Care Clinic serves uninsured,
financially eligible Bucks County residents age 18 and older. Outpatient
services include routine physical exams, diagnostic procedures, referrals to
medical specialists and social service resources, and more.
