The St. Mary Breast Health Initiative provides free clinical breast examinations and screening mammograms to uninsured women 40 and older who meet certain financial guidelines.
Since its inception in October 2008 through August 2011, the initiative has served more than 500 Bucks County women. Of that number, 11 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, and one was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
