Way to Wellness is an innovative and interactive 10-week program that combines three necessary components for living a healthy lifestyle:
Nutrition - learning to make healthy choices and ensuring proper nutrition… in meal planning, cooking, supermarket shopping and snacking. This component is facilitated by a licensed, registered dietitian.
Fitness – learning to exercise properly to maintain a healthy heart, reduce fat, build muscle and increase joint flexibility. The St. Mary Wellness Center is a comprehensive medical fitness facility. This component is facilitated by a certified fitness specialist/exercise physiologist.
Mind-Body Skills - focuses on your well-being... learning to manage stress, replacing unwanted habits with healthy behaviors, and discovering ways to take time for yourself amid life’s challenges. This component is facilitated by a certified professional coach/stress management specialist.
Through a combination of hands-on experience, plenty of support and learning opportunities, you will be introduced to a foundation of wellness that will give you the confidence and ability to create your healthy future.
