The Way to Wellness program is an innovative, interactive and fun 10-week healthy lifestyle program at St. Mary Medical Center that combines three important components: Nutrition, Fitness and Mind-Body Skills.
Nutrition - focuses on learning to make healthy choices and ensuring proper nutrition… in meal planning, cooking, supermarket shopping and snacking.
Fitness - focuses on the importance of moving your body and the proper use of exercise equipment to maintain a healthy heart, reduce fat, build muscle and increase joint flexibility. The St. Mary Gym provides a welcoming, non-competitive atmosphere for any fitness level.
Mind-Body Skills - focuses on well-being...learning stress management techniques, replacing unwanted habits with healthy behaviors, and discovering ways to take good care of yourself.
Through a combination of hands-on experience, plenty of support and learning opportunities, you will be introduced to a foundation of wellness that will give you the confidence and ability to create your healthy future.
