On Tuesday, August 13, St. Mary Medical Center celebrated our 40th Anniversary with a special Mass of Thanksgiving officiated by the Archbishop of Kerala, India, Most Reverend Soosa Pakiam.
The Archbishop led a mass in the St. Mary Chapel, with a homily that gave tribute to St. Mary for providing care to patients for 40 years - in mind, body, and spirit. In addition to a consistently high ranking as a top employer, St. Mary is the most trusted and preferred healthcare system and the largest employer in Bucks County.
Earlier this year, St. Mary also celebrated Hospital Week, Nurses Week, and their 40th Anniversary with a special Mass officiated by the Archbishop of Philadelphia, Most Rev. Charles Chaput, OFM. The Archbishop led a celebration of the Eucharist and an anointing of the sick in the St. Mary Chapel, followed by a brief meet-and-greet with colleagues, patients and visitors.
