St. Mary Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Stephanie Molden
Dr. Molden specializes in Urogynecology and is certified in Biostatistics and Epidemiology.
LANGHORNE, Pa., December 16, 2009 – St. Mary Medical Center announced today that Stephanie M. Molden, MD, has recently joined the medical staff and has been named Medical Director for The Female Pelvic Health Center. The Center is located in Suite 400 of the Medical Office Building on the St. Mary campus in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Molden received a medical degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, from which she also received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She completed an internship at Abington Memorial Hospital, in Abington, Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in Urogynecology at St. Luke’s Health Network and Institute for Female Pelvic Medicine in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In addition, Dr. Molden received certification in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Drexel University.
She was the Administrative Chief Resident in OB/GYN at Abington Memorial Hospital and served as a Medical Science Research Associate in the Department of Hematology at the University of Pennsylvania and in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Virginia. She also was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for St. Luke’s Health Network and Assistant Director of St. Luke’s Center for Pelvic Health, both in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Molden has contributed to committees such as the Fellows’ Pelvic Research Network, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons; and the Pelvic Trauma Taskforce for St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Urogynecology Society, Society for Gynecologic Surgeons, and Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology.
A published author and experienced presenter, Dr. Molden also has served as principal investigator for numerous clinical research projects.
